Attorney Profile

Mick Minamino has over 25 years experience in the field of Intellectual Property. 

Before starting his own practice, he worked as an in-house attorney for a large Japanese company and was in charge of many aspect of intellectual property law.  Through that experience, he became familiar with the Japanese culture and companies.

He has experienced litigation in both ITC and district courts.  He is knowledgeable about litigation strategy and procedure including discovery process.

He also has had many patent license negotiations against US and foreign companies.  In some cases, he works with a big law firm for his client's negotiation. 

He speaks both Japanese and English fluently.
